Oscars 2017 Red Carpet Best Dressed Women:
This year’s Oscar Awards was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and while all eyes were on the Oscar statue winners of the night, these 10 beautiful women were winning on the red carpet. The Oscar’s are defined by fashion moments that can be so memorable, that even now, years later, people still remember iconic fashion choices. Who could forget Halle Berry’s sheer dress after she won best actress in 2002? And Julia Roberts black and white gown that her niece Emma Roberts admits to helping her pick out in 2001. Or Hilary Swanks backless navy blue Oscars dress from 1995. The Oscars best dressed list is of course the most prestigious fashion accomplishment a celebrity can hope for. Here are our Top 10 Oscars Best Dressed Women of the night:
Karlie Kloss was a standout winner for us because she wore a modern cape dress which is right on trend and her blue ACLU ribbon placement was perfect! We totally support the work ACLU does and if you would like to also learn more visiting there website here www.ACLU.org
We also love Ava Duvernay’s dress, it was not only gorgeous but also highlights a Lebanese designer that most people in the US haven’t heard of until now, Ashi Studio. To see more designs by them visit their site www.AshiStudio.com
Viola Davis’ red cold shoulder Oscars dress was anything but cold, she lit up the red carpet and her speech after winning Best Supporting Actress was inspiring as well!
The Top 3 winners of this list since it is so difficult to pick only 1 Oscar Red Carpet Queen, are Halle, Taraji and Janelle.
Halle Berry’s perfectly styled curls have twitter falling in love with the 50 year old actress all over again! With her makeup and glam on point she didn’t need a lot of jewelry or accessories to shine. She said that she worked with stylist of over 20 years together on this ensemble and that blush gold tone custom Versace gown was perfect for Oscars red carpet.
Taraji P Henson is becoming one of our favorite red carpet fashionistas, she is fun to watch as her character ‘Cookie’ on the hit show Empire, because she takes fearless fashion risks. We have watch Taraji evolve into an A-list actress over the years and this Oscar red carpet look solidified her place as reigning fashion queen! Her navy dress fit her curvy silhouette perfectly and we loved that she picked this hue over black. And of course thee statement diamond necklace and flawless makeup reminded us of old Hollywood glamor, amazing Taraji!!
We really did want to save the best for last, Janelle Monáe is becoming a trendsetter and redefining fashion rules. We like to see her black and white outfits, but if you are going to try something like this black tulle gown, the Oscars red carpet is the perfect time and place. This Elie Saab dress is straight off the runway and is set with stones, crystals, feathers and beads. This one of a kind gown is breathtaking and her hair is styled with safety pins and pearls. Pure perfection and so refreshing Janelle has incredible personal style and the Oscars red carpet was all about her this year!
